Designed in 1952 by the pioneer Le Corbusier - one of the greatest architects of the 20th century - for his "Unité d'habitation" project in Marseille, today Borne Béton is considered a lighting fixture – an archetype. It is the ultimate work light, made of concrete, with a fluid form that recalls the iconic green glass bankers lamps of the 1900s and reinterprets them through a modern mold.
